When I started teaching Miracle Tai Chi, I noticed something almost every student did in their first session—they tried to meditate. They would close their eyes, retreat into themselves, and attempt to find that familiar stillness they’d experienced in meditation.
I get it. I used to do the same thing. But here’s what I’ve learned: Miracle Tai Chi isn’t meditation.
Sure, they share some common ground. Both are about awareness. Both can lead you to a sense of peace and even touch the edges of Nirvana. But where meditation often asks you to let go and dissolve into stillness, Miracle Tai Chi invites you to step into movement, into life, and engage fully—with your body, your energy, and the world around you.
This difference was a revelation for me. It’s what sets Miracle Tai Chi apart and makes it so transformative. It’s not just about finding peace; it’s about living it, even in the middle of life’s storms.
The Key Difference
In Miracle Tai Chi, you learn to cultivate awareness and a meditative state while engaging with the world. Tai Chi means movement, and it’s through movement that relaxation is found.
In meditation, the focus is often on stillness—whether you’re sitting, standing, or walking. The practice encourages you to let go of everything and enter pure consciousness.

Miracle Tai Chi, on the other hand, activates both the mind and the body. It uses the physical body as a mechanism to enhance awareness. In this state, you become both pure consciousness and fully embodied. Meditation, by contrast, often involves shedding the physical connection to focus solely on consciousness.
This dynamic interplay between awareness and physicality is what makes Miracle Tai Chi a profound tool for aligning with the Tao. It allows you to move with the rhythm of life, consciously engaging with the world while finding peace—even amidst chaos.
Texture vs. Flavor
Miracle Tai Chi has the texture of meditation but a very different flavor.
In the first session, I always tell my students to keep their eyes open. Naturally, they want to close their eyes and retreat into their inner world, as they might in meditation. But in Miracle Tai Chi, we seek to balance the inner and outer worlds—engaging with both simultaneously.

This is the essence of balance: the yin and the yang, the outer and the inner.
A Practical Example: The Elevator Test
As Osho, the great meditation teacher, once said: “Be a little bit attentive.”
Imagine entering an elevator. The doors open, and suddenly someone steps out, surprising you. You react because you weren’t fully aware of your surroundings.
In a meditative state, you might be conscious of your inner peace but still caught off guard by external events. In the Miracle Tai Chi state, you achieve sharpness of mind and body. You respond with ease and flow, consciously navigating the moment without unnecessary reaction.

This state isn’t about choosing between awareness or thought. It’s about balance—embracing both your instinctive, reptilian self and your higher, godlike nature. It’s yin and yang in perfect harmony.
Advanced Mastery: Slow Consciousness, Fast Mind, No Thought
The beauty of Miracle Tai Chi lies in its potential. Advanced practitioners can master a unique state: slow consciousness, a fast and focused mind, and no thought.
This might sound paradoxical, but it’s achievable through practice. You learn to quiet your inner chatter while remaining fully engaged with the world around you.
It’s not an easy journey—each of us has unique experiences, challenges, and inner realities to balance. But Miracle Tai Chi gives us the tools to shape our inner state.

Becoming the Creator of Your Inner World
Miracle Tai Chi transforms you from a passive participant in your own life to an active creator of your inner world.
In my own experience, I often felt caught between passivity and force, relying too much on a “strong mind” to solve challenges. Miracle Tai Chi showed me a different path—one where I could embrace all aspects of myself and become the architect of my inner reality.

As you level up in life and embrace new challenges, new realizations and inner weaknesses will arise. Miracle Tai Chi equips you to overcome these with clarity and grace. It helps you consciously choose how you want to feel and who you want to be in any situation.
A New Way to Live
Miracle Tai Chi is not just a practice—it’s a way to move through life.
Whether you’re facing a stormy sea or a calm lake, this practice allows you to maintain peace within. It empowers you to respond to life with balance, strength, and ease.
So, why not try it for yourself? With Miracle Tai Chi, you’ll find not only relaxation but a new way to engage with the world—fully alive, fully present, and fully balanced.
